The guy launches into a speech, "Well, there are some really good things about the U.S...."
The girl tunes out.
The guy continues, "...but there are some bad things...."
Her interest in piqued again.
"What do you think about Globalization," her pseudo-hipster friend asks.
"And what do you think about Poverty," the guy's drinking partner spits in response, under her breath.
