CommunityNext -- A Much-Needed Conference
My buddy Noah has been hard at work organizing a conference that so needs to happen, called CommunityNext.
CommunityNext is about the present and future of communities on the web, and promises lots of interesting discussions on how to build, grow and make bucks from a community site.
The speakers list is schweet, including the Threadless guys, Guy Kawasaki (who normally charges mad $$ to speak), Amit from Photojojo, Markus Frind from PlentyOfFish, the delightful Tara Hunt, and Sean Suhl from Suicide Girls. The full CommunityNext speakers list is here.
It's on Saturday Feb 10 at Stanford, and Noah's planning for there to be some unconventional and fun stuff going on... it's definitely not going to be a typical stuffed-shirt conference.
I'll be there... and you should be, too.
In fact, here's two incentives. First, for y'all, my awesome readers, if you use the code 'reemer' when signing up, you get $45 off the regular price of $195... but it's good only for the next 6 days!
And second, if you don't know Noah, I'll introduce you--he's definitely a dude worth knowing!
So: CommunityNext, Saturday Feb 10, Stanford, great speakers, meet Noah, $45 off using 'reemer' for 6 days when you sign up. See ya there!
Update: Just for today (1/5/07), use 'reemerspecial' and get $100 off the $195 price!

Looks like fun, I think I may go;)
Sweet. I'm in. Thanks for blogging about it.
Oh man that looks good. I really, really want to be there... But it's a little far to travel for one conference day :o)
