Ta-da List Saved My Life
In the first week of June, we purchased tickets to Tanzania that departed from New York on July 2, so during the last three weeks of June I found myself ridiculously busy, trying to:
- Complete a project for Fox
- Plan and book the details of our 6 week trip
- Close out affairs in Connecticut
- Find a tenant to rent my condo
- Say bye to the good friends we made in Connecticut
- Travel to Canada to apply for a new visa
- Travel to New York, twice, to sign Fox paperwork and get a Tanzanian visa
- Coordinate the movers and temporary housing details
- Learn about, and enroll in, Fox benefit programs
- Buy a whole bunch of stuff for travelling (waterproof jacket, flashlight, power adapters, etc.)
- Figure out what vaccinations and medications to get, and get them
- Refinance my condo
It was honestly the busiest period of my life, and I really would not have managed to deal with everything on my list with Tadalist. In the end, I had 6 lists with 155 items completed, and had created two more lists with 60 to-do items for when I arrived in LA (people to contact, addresses to change, things to buy, etc.) It really helped me manage the seemingly never-ending collection of tasks I had to complete before leaving Connecticut. Frankly, I would have been screwed without it.
If you need a way to keep track of to-do items, Ta-da List should be the first place you look. It's simple, powerful, and best of all, free.
