Lessig on Piracy
Lawrence Lessig writes in Wired about how content-driven industries of the past (TV, Hollywood, radio, music) spawned from piracy, and cautions against legislating disruptive technologies like peer-to-peer file sharing out of existence simply because they can facilitate piracy, without understanding a technology's full potential to change traditional methods of delivering content.
Worth a read, if you're into that sort of thing.
