Good sports night.
Raptors get pummelled by the Wizards.
Leafs trade for Leetch.
Shaq - Yao lived up to the hype.
...And the end of the Canucks - Avs OT game was great.
Update: on another note, the research department at ESPN does some incredible work, and here's what they had to say about the Shaq-Yao game:
The Lakers beat the Rockets last night, but Yao Ming again outscored (33-28) and outrebounded (8-7) Shaquille O'Neal despite playing fewer minutes (37-39), a feat he also accomplished on February 11 (29-24 in points, 11-9 in rebounds, 37-41 in minutes). In Shaq's 780 career regular-season starts, only one other starting center has outscored and outrebounded him while playing fewer minutes than O'Neal, as Yao has now done twice this season, and that was over 11 years ago when Shaq was a rookie. On February 1, 1993, Wayman Tisdale of the Sacramento Kings had 25 points and 11 rebounds in 29 minutes while Shaq had 18 points and six rebounds in 36 minutes. (Hakeem Olajuwon also did it in Game Four of the 1995 Finals, the only time it has happened in the postseason.)
That Shaq, it turns out, is quite a basketball player.
